This is a horrifying state of affairs. Thanks for mentioning the group that is trying to do something about it - I just visited their website as I would like to support their efforts, and was pleased to see that they were able to meet their first $30K challenge and are now onto the next one (equally urgent, but the good news is that some people, at least, are paying attention!)
