too many roofers get lazy late in the day and don't hit their nailing lines. i've seen those kind of problems over and over again. a good roofing company will come out and make it right for you.

I saw a conversion of a dormer roof to a deck from the apex line, the gables stayed in place but the roofing on one side was brought down to a flat surface, could you tell me the name of this type of conversion please?

Help! We are having BIG problems with the contracor that we employed to do our roof. Each day we find new problems. The white flashing that is to outline the dormers is not installed correctly leaving an area exposed in the areas that comes in contact with the roof line. The drip edges are don't seem to reach the edge of the roof. When I got up on the ladder I noticed that the shingles did not properly overlap.
Help we need help.
