Charles & Hudson: Chinese Made Drywall Leaving a Nasty Trail

  • Jill S Mertinke · 8 months ago
What is wrong with us (we in the United States)? Ever here the old saying, "Ya get what you pay for?" Cheap labor, defective products that have caused numerous health problems in products from paint on toys, food, and now this dry wall. Are we stupid? Wake up America!!! We can produce our own dry wall, our own toys for OUR KIDS, and we sure as hell can process our own food. We need to boycott China. How much more are we going to take?

"GOOG" serves every one right for using products from China, I hope there is even more suffering for people who used Chinese products and put Americans out of work.

I find this just awful! If China is not trying to kill us in one way or another they are stealing all of the Americans Money. But I can not really blame the Americans , did you ever try to find anything made in America? It is really hard. But this is all our government for allowing these imports. That is why all of our companies have moved to other countries trying to get these people to work for nothing and they do. Then send the crap back here after taking all the work from the americans and that is mostly all we can find to buy. Did you ever read a can of Green Giant Mushroon.. they are made in indonesia. SO there goes the food too. I say we made CHina what it is today and now they are trying to thank us by killing us all or trying.
We can thank our GOVERNMENT for all of this and I think they should pay for all the damage done to all those houses after all they can give AIG money to burn! Government allowes the garbage to come into the country then they need to fix the problem for everyone this has happened to.

In our quest to get the lowest possible price the free market has dictated we go overseas for so many products and those countries have responded. Unfortunately the quality control isn't on par with the US and we see subpar products infiltrate our marketplace.

If we all take great responsibility for what materials are going into our homes we will be better off but for the sake of cost that choice is out of reach for a lot of homeowners and most big builders could care less as long as they are getting a good price.
