At first glance, it seems like a very minor feature. But it helps prevent clutter at the entrance of your home, and that's quite important when it comes to first impressions. Best of all, there's no real need to make things look fancy for a shoe rack so it's easy to do.

This does seem very nice :) but I wonder if the shoes will scuff, from scraping against the top board, when someone takes them out?
